Description
John Buscema Wolverine #7 Hulk / Mr. Fixit Cover Original Art (Marvel, 1989). The Hulk as "Joe Fixit" appeared in just two issues of this series, #7 and #8, and they are among the most memorable issues and most desirable covers of the run. From the early, beating heart of Wolverine's first ongoing solo series, just as his new identity as Madripoor's protector, Patch, was taking shape, while also featuring Karma of the New Mutants, guarded by the two heroes as they're surrounded by local enforcers. Rendered in ink over graphite by industry icon John Buscema on Bristol board with a 9.75" x 15.25" image area. The logo, corner box, cover blurb, and UPC box are all paste-ups. Toning, residue stains on the Hulk, production tape, pinholes in the margin, cut tape at the top of the board on the reverse, marginal notes, and paste-up corner guides with residue staining -- some lifting and one missing altogether at the bottom right -- along with handling wear.
