Description
John Buscema Wolverine #7 Cover Original Art (Marvel, 1989). Few Wolverine solo stories remain as indelible in fan's minds as his Madripoor team-up with the Hulk in the early days of the clawed Canadian's first ongoing series -- just don't call them by those codenames on this cover, it's Patch and Joe Fixit, thank you very much! Karma of the New Mutants also appears on the cover that wraps a story utilizing the mutant's uncle, General Nguyen Ngoc Coy, as its villain. John Buscema rendered the cover in ink over graphite on a toned Bristol board with an image area of 9.75" x 15". The artwork has been cutout and adhered to a larger Bristol board for an overall size of 11" x 17". A paste-up art correction to the Hulk is missing, leaving behind a large amount of residue staining. All trade dressing and logos are stat paste-ups. Production tape and pinholes in the margins, discolored tape from the back of the board is visible over the top edge, marginal notes, and three discolored production corner frame paste-ups with one missing at bottom right, leaving behind residue stains.
