DescriptionJohn Buscema, Joe Sinnott, and John Romita Sr. Fantastic Four #117 Cover Original Art (Marvel, 1971). A fantastic cover featuring some floating heads (Mr. Fantastic, Invisible Girl, and the Thing), as the Human Torch, Crystal, and the evil Diablo take the main image area! "Big John" Buscema handled the pencil work on the page, with inks by "Joltin' Joe" Sinnott. But "The Jazzy One" himself, John Romita Sr. is reported to have handled art duties on the figure of Crystal, which is an original art paste-up blended in with whiteout around the edges. It's a really great looking cover as rendered in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". The corner box, logo, and all header dressing are stat paste-ups. The text is hand-lettered paste-up work. There are whiteout art corrections, and some glue residue around some of the paste-up work (with a few minor spots in the image area). The "All New/All Great" paste-up caption box stat is toned. There is some tape over the lower thought bubble and the story title. In Very Good condition. Comes with a copy of the printed comic.
