Description

John Buscema Doc Savage #1 Cover Original Art (Marvel, 1971). The Man of Bronze is battling a Son of the Feathered Serpent (and his allies) and trying to avoid Death -- Eighty Stories High! There is a great note at the top of the page directing John (Buscema) to finish Kull first before this cover. Created in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". There are some whiteout art corrections. The header (including the logo/price/etc), the round caption in the middle, and the lower banner all appear to be modern-day replacement paste-ups. The board is lightly toned, with pinholes in the top. In Very Good condition.
