John Buscema and Mike Esposito Skull the Slayer #6 Cover Original Art (Marvel, 1976). John Buscema is best-known for his work on Conan the Barbarian, but he was a versatile artist who lent power and dynamic action to any scene he illustrated. His love of sword and sorcery themes play large in this bombastic cover for the short-lived Skull the Slayer series. Produced in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". The stat logo is stripped-in and affixed with tape on the back. The corner box, header, and logo are all paste-up stats. There is a 2" slit by the UPC box, with glue residue in and beside the box. Light handling wear in the margins. The overall eye appeal is still good. Signed by both artists on the left side, and by Buscema over the dorsal fin. In Very Good condition.
