Description
John Buscema and Dan Adkins Silver Surfer #13 Cover Original Art (Marvel, 1970). The silver sentinel of the spaceways must face off against... "The Dawn of the Doomsday Man!" A dynamic cover, it is created in ink (with some white paint) over graphite and blue pencil on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". It was then trimmed to the edges and affixed to a sheet of Sparta World Color cover stock Bristol board. The logo, header, corner box, and bottom caption are all stat paste-ups. Some are coming loose, however they are all intact. The cover is lightly tanned, with a bit of production oil stain in the margins, and some production tape on the issue number.
