DescriptionJoe Staton Scooby-Doo #16 Cover Original Art (DC, 1998). "Zoinks! It's a Groovy Ghoulie!" Joe Staton handled the cover art chores, and also wrote the script for this issue. (The inside art was by Manny Galan and Tim Harkins.) This peaceful poltergeist is produced in ink over graphite on bright white DC Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". The glowing effect is ink and blue pencil on an onionskin overlay. There are several places of whiteout corrections and Velma's glasses have a taped over correction that was done at the time of creation. Signed in the bottom right corner. There is a small, hardly notable, crease in the upper area. Overall in Excellent condition.
