Joe Quesada and Danny Miki Marvel Knights #8 Dr. Strange Cover Original Art (Marvel, 2000). A landmark Marvel Knights image that reflects Marvel's shift toward creator-driven storytelling. Doctor Strange holds a spellcasting poise as his Astral form emerges from his body, spirit rising in radiant focus while the mortal shell stands firm. Fresh from his celebrated Daredevil work with Kevin Smith on "Guardian Devil", Joe Quesada brings confident authority to the cover as Marvel's new Editor-in-Chief, with Danny Miki's precise crosshatching sharpening every mystical contour. Ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10.25" x 15.25". Rippling and staining from moisture exposure in the lower left/bottom of the piece. Includes a photocopy of the pencils. In Very Good condition.
