Description
Joe Kubert Sgt. Rock #342 Cover Original Art (DC, 1980). Kubert delivers a gritty, larger-than-life portrait of the cigar-chomping war legend, split into six sections for the lead story "The 6 Sides of Sgt. Rock", where a WWII reporter collects six perspectives from Easy Company. You'd be hard-pressed to find a more detailed or commanding image of Sgt. Rock by Kubert than this unforgettable cover. Ink over graphite on DC Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". Light toning, glue residue staining, blue pencil editorial marks, stat logo/trade dressing and title paste-ups, tape in top left image area, marginal pulled-tape abrasions and staple holes, minor smudging, and minor handling wear. Signed and dated by Kubert in the lower left image area. In Very Good condition.More information about Joe Kubert. See also: Kubert, Joe Artist. Lookup the Comic Book in our Guide
