Joe Kubert Sgt. Rock #17 Cover Original Art (DC, 1991). Sgt. Rock and Enemy Ace share side-by-side billing on this cover by comics legend Joe Kubert. The dramatic images created by Kubert's use of light and shadow exemplify one of the characteristics of his art that made him such a great cover artist. Ink over graphite on DC cover stock Bristol board with an image area of 9.75" x 15". Slight toning, acetate overlay with logo stapled at the top, stat header and UPC box paste-ups, tape along the left edge, whiteout corrections, with light handling wear.
