Joe Kubert Our Army At War #174 Cover Sgt. Rock Original Art (DC, 1966). A stunning cover by the man that most agree is the single best war comic artist ever... Mr. Joe Kubert! After you have ogled his detail work and command of dramatic tension, do check out the marginal notes that show he had this complete cover mapped out in his head... down to the color scheme! Created twice-up scale in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 12.25" x 18.5". The original logo and cover caption stats are missing, leaving glue residue. There is a modern day reproduction created on a flip-up film of plastic for presentation purposes. The lightly toned board is in Very Good condition.
