DescriptionJoe Kubert Men of War #3 Cover Original Art (DC, 1977). They call him Gravedigger, so named because the army didn't want to assign him to combat duty but only to dig graves! He proved them wrong, as shown by Kubert in this one-on-seven fight. A look at this one tells you why other artists so often name Kubert as the person they wanted to emulate. The art has been professionally conserved. All stats are original. There are slight traces of prior staining still visible on the back of the art. There's a bit of rust at the top, from a staple that was removed. This piece has an image area of 9.75" x 15" and is in Very Good condition.
