Description
Joe Certa Warfront #13 Cover Original Art (Harvey, 1953). A fiery and horrific pre-Code cover! This title does describe itself as "True War Exposés", so the stories have a hard edge to them. Rendered in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". The entire masthead is a modern-day stat re-creation. The lower caption is the original stat paste-up. There is glue residue in the lower center of the image area from a missing paste-up of Joe Certa's signature. Plexiglas-front framed to 18.5" x 23.75".
