DescriptionJim Steranko Fletcher Paperback Book Cover Original Art (Berkley Publishing, 1971). "His name was Fletcher... but they called him "saddle-tramp." Artist Jim Steranko appears to have chosen actor Clint Eastwood as the inspiration for this fantastic Western cover art, done in the style of James Bama's Doc Savage paperbacks. Painted edge-to-edge in oils on a piece of Masonite board measuring approximately 16" x 20"; there is minor damage along the outer edges (that could easily be covered with a frame); otherwise, it's in Excellent condition. A copy of Jack Bickham's book with Steranko's cover art is included. Smile when you place your bid, partner!
