This detailed preliminary is accompanied with a letter from Steranko to pulp expert Ernest Toth, thanking Toth for helping him photograph the pulps for the History of Comics. The lot also includes the original mailing envelope, along with a 1970 want list of Shadow pulps that Steranko still needed. The art image measures approximately 4" x 7", matted to 8" x 11.25", and is in Excellent condition.
