Description

Jim Aparo The Brave and the Bold #191 Cover Batman and The Joker (and The Penguin) Original Art (DC, 1982). This is the only time that Aparo drew these three characters together on one piece! We think that this is one of Aparo's best Batman covers, and he drew more Batman covers than any other single artist. This was the first cover appearance of the Joker's flag gun, which first appeared in Detective Comics #341. Ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". Top dressing, text bubbles, and "Bang!" text are all stat paste-ups with some discoloration; otherwise, in Excellent condition.
