    Jerome Opena Avengers vs. X-Men #8 Variant Cover Original Art (Marvel, 2012). Avengers Assemble! You can hear the words coming from Captain America as he leads an all-star contingent of heroes as they battle the X-men in this epic event. Fighting alongside Steve Rogers is the Thing, Red Hulk, Vision, Doctor Strange, Thor, Valkyrie, and Beast. The dynamic image created by Jerome Opena was used for two variant covers, a color version with Dean White, and the sketch variant. Rendered in graphite over blue pencil on Marvel Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 14.5". The piece has light handling wear and is in Excellent condition.
