Description
Jason Fabok Detective Comics #1000 Cover Original Art (DC, 2019). To celebrate such a milestone issue for the Dark Knight, DC commissioned a slew of impressive variant covers from celebrated artists, including Eisner Award-winning artist Jason Fabok, fittingly known for his run on the New 52 Detective Comics series. This striking image of the Caped Crusader standing sternly in the middle of Gotham was used for three exclusive variant covers from Yesteryear Comics: a color cover, a color "virgin" cover, and a black-and-white "virgin" cover. Rendered in ink and marker over graphite on Bristol board with an edge-to-edge image area of 11" x 17". White paint highlights, with light smudging and handling wear.
