Description

James Bama Doc Savage #41: Merchants of Disaster Paperback Cover Original Art (Bantam, 1969). A striking image of the Man of Bronze created for the Kenneth Robeson (Harold A. Davis) novel. The incredible use of cool blues over the realistic warm tones of Savage create a unique vision that was also used as an alternate cover to the Doc Savage Volume 45 pulp reprint. Oil on illustration board with an image area of 13" x 19.5". Slight toning, pinholes at the top and bottom, corner dings, with surface scuffing and handling wear. Signed by Bama in the lower image area and in Very Good condition.
