Jack Sparling Tomb of Terror #4 Cover Original Art (Harvey, 1952). Harvey's horror comics line recently enjoyed a slight resurgence with the publication of many of their titles in trade paperback form. Here's the grotesque cover to Tomb of Terror #4, one the many titles that the Comics Code Authority would eventually outlaw completely. Created in ink over graphite on Bristol board with a matted image area of 10" x 15" and an overall glass front frame size of 34.25" x 28.5". The logo is a modern stat replacement, there is a stripped-in text correction in the lower text blurb box, the page is lightly toned, with whiteout corrections. A copy of the printed cover is matted and framed beside the art. In Excellent condition.
