Jack Kirby and Frank Giacoia Marvel Treasury Special Featuring Captain America's Bicentennial Battles Cover Original Art (Marvel, 1976). The main image for this treasury-sized book was created by Jack Kirby with inks by Frank Giacoia. In the lower left, there is a group of colonial soldiers that is an original art paste-up drawn by Marie Severin. On the mid-right side, there is some glue residue from a missing caption box and a missing original art paste-up that added Cap's body to the moonscape scene (this missing addition was produced by John Romita Sr.). This cover was created in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10.5" x 13.5". The logo and masthead are all stat paste-up. Signed by Jack Kirby in the lower right of the image area. There are two horizontal creases (more visible from the reverse) across the cover. The back has a nice bit of "Kirby Seasoning" on it (graphite smudged from the King Kirby's highly used art table). Lightly toned and in Very Good condition.
