DescriptionJack Davis Sick Magazine #20 First Huckleberry Fink Cover Original Art (Crestwood Publications, 1963). Huckleberry Fink debuts as your Sick host as he diverts a nerd's attention away from shielding his test answers by using a glam shot of Jayne Mansfield as a decoy. This is one case where you can judge a mag by its cover. In addition to his other more celebrated humorous work, Davis also freelanced for such Mad competitors as Cracked, Sick, and Dell's Yak Yak. This rare ink and watercolor Sick masterwork has an approximate image area of 12.5" x 16". Aside from some light overall aging, the art is in Excellent condition. From the Joe Simon Estate.
