Description

J. Scott Campbell Spider-Gwen #9 Variant Cover Original Art (Marvel, 2016). Spider-Gwen stands gracefully atop a high-wire, emphasizing her dancer background in this stunning piece from fan-favorite cover artist J. Scott Campbell. Known for his modern "good girl" cover art, Campbell has carved out a niche among fans for his beloved depictions of Spider-Man's love interests -- namely Gwen Stacy, Black Cat, and Mary Jane. This cover art was so nice, ComicXposure used it as a variant cover twice: once as a full-color edition and again as a black-and-white version nearly identical to this finished art, the only differences being added trade dress and Campbell's signature, which was moved from the right to the left. Rendered in ink over graphite on 11" x 17" Bristol board. Light smudging, handling wear, and corner creasing. Signed and dated by Campbell in the lower right. In Excellent condition.
