DescriptionIrving Novick - Detective Comics #379 Unpublished Alternate Batman Cover Original Art (DC, circa 1968). It's double the danger as Batman is caught in a blazing crossfire in this unpublished alternate cover scene for "Two Killings For the Price of One." Irving Novick redrew this dramatic "cover hook" for the final published cover and it begs the question -- why? Perhaps Novick didn't leave quite enough cover space at the top of the page for the Detective Comics logo! Whatever the reason, this Silver Age spectacular will look nothing less than Definitely Cool in any Silver Age/Batman collector's Batcave! This cover has an image area of 10" x 15" and the art is in Excellent condition.
