Description

Ian Akin and Brian Garvey - Original Cover Art for Rom #48 (Marvel, 1983). A dejected Rom walks into the sunset as the Dire Wraiths look on and laugh. Akin and Garvey certainly outdid themselves on this moody, evocative cover. In excellent condition, this piece measures approximately 11" x 17" overall, and is signed by the artists in the lower left. As a special added bonus, Jim Shooter, then Marvel's controversial Editor-In-Chief, has also signed this cover. As with many of Marvel's comics from the 1980s, Rom is enjoying a resurgence of popularity, so don't think you'll be the only one bidding on this Reagan-era beauty!
