Description
Herb Trimpe The Incredible Hulk #143 Cover Dr. Doom Original Art (Marvel, 1971). "At last! Doctor Doom!" The villain seeks to use the Green Goliath as a weapon in his plans for world domination. This cover comes almost halfway through Trimpe's seven-year run on the title, for which he is best-known, providing a unique look for the Hulk which is regarded fondly by fans. Ink over blue pencil on cover stock Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". Slight toning, logo/header and text paste-ups, tape in the top left image area, pinholes in the top margin, small chip on the bottom edge, whiteout corrections, with creasing, staining, and smudging/handling wear.
