Description

Herb Trimpe, John Severin, and Marie Severin Kid Colt Outlaw #149 Cover Original Art (Marvel, 1970). The Bellows Mob is all fancy and stuff. They don't just use a kerchief over their face... they have store-bought Halloween masks! Actually, Trimpe supplied the blue pencil, and John Severin the inks, which featured just regular bad guys. Chip Goodman, son of publisher Martin Goodman, asked that the faces be changed to masks, and Bullpen regular Marie Severin handled the art changes to her brother's inkwork. The World Color Bristol board has an image area of 10" x 15". The logo and corner box are printed paste-ups. All other cover text is hand-lettered paste-up. The board is toned, with some glue stains. In Good condition.
