DescriptionHarry Scharre How Sharp the Point Cover Original Art (Pyramid Books, 1959). P.J. Wolfson's novel of the Mexican Revolution is given a dynamic figurative representation in this richly composed, large-scale montage, combining a romantic tryst with an ominous armed warrior. A morticed matte obscures a blank area that the artist had reserved for the book's title logotype and a descriptive blurb. A reading copy of the book (Very Good condition) is enclosed. Gouache on illustration board. Image area, 11" x 18", matted to 15" x 22". Moderate age toning, with a large splash-stain (possibly from a coffee spill) at lower left. Very Good condition.
