Hal Santiago Holiday Komiks Erickson Cover Original Art (GASI, 1979). This epic sword and sandal cover features the heroic Erickson in full stride. Santiago took his pen name from his idol Hal Foster, and that influence shows clearly in the noble figures, sweeping action, and classic Prince Valiant style adventure tone. Ink over graphite on heavy duty Bristol board with an edge-to-edge image area of 12.75" x 15.5". Heavy toning, adhesive residue spots, whiteout art correction, and handling/edge wear.
