    Guillaume Sorel Le Soleil Du Nouveau Monde Couverture Originale (Fleuve Noir, 2006). Couverture pour le roman d'Alexandre Irving. New York, 1835. Archie Prescott, journaliste, vient de perdre sa maison, sa femme et sa fille Jane dans le grand incendie qui a ravagé la ville. Ce qu'il ignore c'est que Jane a été sauvée des flammes par une sorcière mexicaine pour être offerte en sacrifice à d'antiques dieux aztèques. Le ton est donné dans cette impressionnante couverture, une calèche endiablée, la sorcière, Jane dans ses bras. Techniques mixtes sur Bristol pour une surface d'image de 37 x 57 cm. Signée, datée par l'artiste. En Parfaite Condition.
    Guillaume Sorel Le Soleil Du Nouveau Monde Cover Original Art (Fleuve Noir, 2006). The cover art for the novel by Alexandre Irving. Set in New York in 1835, Archie Prescott, journalist, has just lost his house, his wife, and his daughter Jane in the great fire that ravaged the city. What he doesn't know is that Jane was saved from the flames by a Mexican witch, to be offered as a sacrifice to ancient Aztec Gods. The tone is set in this impressive cover, a frenzied carriage, and the witch, with Jane in her arms. Mixed media on Bristol board with an image area of 14.5" x 22.5". Signed and dated by the artist. In Excellent condition.
