DescriptionGill Fox Doll Man Quarterly #3 Summer Issue Cover Original Art (Quality Comics, 1942). In this case, the pen really is mightier than the sword, as the diminutive, but dangerous, Doll Man takes a stab for American defense. Gill Fox is the artist responsible for this memorable cover art, which stands out among others with its stark, forceful layout, and campy drama. The twice-up scale art measures 13" x 18", making Doll Man slightly larger than life-size! Crafted in ink over graphite on illustration board, with blue pencil editorial color call-out notations. The logo and indicia at the top are recent replacements. There are some touches of whiteout art correction. The board is toned, with edge/corner wear. In Very Good condition.
