Gil Kane The Atom #29 Cover Original Art (DC, 1967). The Golden Age Atom is getting the smack-down by The Thinker using the Silver Age Atom to do the smacking! How this cover was not titled "When Atoms Collide!" is beyond our understanding! Dynamic body poses as only Gil Kane can do them. All that, and you get Go-Go Checks in the top banner also! A version of the Thinker (and even his "Thinking Cap") has appeared on the 2017 season of the Flash TV series. The cover is ironically rendered at twice-up scale in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 12.25" x 18.5". The logo is a stat paste-up (creased and coming loose). The lower caption box is a hand-lettered paste-up. There is also an art correction paste-up over the Thinker's hand. The issue/price paste-up is missing from the upper right. The toned page is in Very Good condition.
