Gil Kane, Frank Giacoia, and John Romita Sr. Marvel Triple Action #10 Avengers Cover Original Art (Marvel, 1973). The Avengers (Iron Man, Giant-Man, Wasp, and Thor) face the Masters of Evil (Black Knight [Nathan Garrett], Enchantress, and Executioner) as Hawkeye holds the lifeless body of the Black Widow! Comics legend John Romita Sr. provided alterations to the cover, especially on Black Widow. Captain America is seen in the header art. A dramatic cover created in ink over graphite on cover stock Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". Stat logo/header (with taped elements) and text paste-ups, trimmed top edge, abrasion in the bottom left corner, blue pencil notes/art in the right margin, whiteout corrections, with staining and handling wear. In the bottom margin is a note from Kane to Romita Sr. about Black Widow and John Romita Sr's signature. In Very Good condition.More information about Gil Kane.
