Gil Kane and Tom Palmer Tomb of Dracula #16 Cover Original Art (Marvel, 1974). Dracula is not the only undead creature walking the earth, as this striking, moody cover attests! Some comic art specialists and enthusiasts feel this is penciled by Rich Buckler instead. It is admittedly difficult to tell because of Tom Palmer's lush and slick ink work that dominates the piece. Ink and Zipatone over graphite on Bristol, with an image area of 10" x 15". The art and the logo elements are on two separate boards attached to a larger board, with slits around the Zombie's head and hand to allow the logo stat to slide behind the original art. This was a common practice at the time, and as was also common, it is held together with production tape on the front. The art is slightly toned and in Very Good condition.
