Description

Gil Kane and Frank Giacoia Amazing Spider-Man #150 Cover Original Art (Marvel, 1975). Gil Kane covers are always striking, but this one is exceptional! It's simply one of the best Spider-Man covers ever, as it sums up the life of ol' Web-Head with the "hands-on-head" worried figure surrounded by poor Petey getting the punk beat out of him by three of his oldest foes! The Spider-riffic cover was rendered in ink over graphite on World Color cover stock Bristol board with an image area of 9.75" x 15". The corner box, header info, and logo are stat paste-ups. The word balloons and lower caption are hand-lettered paste-ups. It has been Plexiglas front framed to 15.5" x 21". In Excellent condition.
