Description
Gil Kane All-American Western #119 Unused Cover Original Art (DC, 1951). Fully penciled and partially inked, there is a note on the top of this page that reads "Reverse Coach and Figures" which explains why it was unfinished and unpublished. The final cover image features Johnny Thunder in the same position, with everyone else flipped to the other side. Graphite and ink on twice-up scale Bristol board with an image area of 13" x 18". The board is toned with some edge/corner wear and a minor top margin rip. There is a stain on the extreme top right side margin, and some wavy ripples on the left side.
