Description

George Wilson Indian Chief #33 Cover Painting Original Art (Dell, 1959). White Eagle and Kima tangle as White Eagle appears to have started fires in the tribe's camp. A dramatic, pulse-pounding image as smoke bellows from the burning tipis in the background of this painting, created in gouache on illustration board with an image area of approximately 13" x 19". Slight toning, pinholes and registration paste-ups in the margins, notes in the right margin, corner dings, with light staining and surface/handling wear. In Very Good condition.
