    Description

George Wilson (attributed) The Occult Files of Doctor Spektor #7 Bondage Cover Original Art (Gold Key, 1974). A mad tombstone party is going on, and all the skeletons are dancing around... well, maybe not dancing, but they sure are animated, in this fabulous Gold Key painted bondage cover. In the 1960s and 70s, Gold Key comics really stood out with covers like this, that might just as well have adorned a choice paperback instead of a lowly comic. We're not sure who created this one -- possibly George Wilson (who painted many covers for Western Publishing), or it could be the mysterious "Paul ..rdla..." who is listed on the tombstone. At any rate, this mixed media painting is cool as heck, and is on illustration board, with an approximate image area of 12" x 16". It's in Excellent condition.
