George Pérez Swordquest #1 Earthworld Unpublished Cover Original Art (DC, 1982). Although noted as for Issue #2, this image seems based on the events from the story "Earthworld!" from Book One of the mini-series, this appears to be an unused cover, back cover, or at least splash page. The Swordquest mini-series was set to be a four-issue series and were pack-in give-away comics sold with the four different Atari game cartridges. Sadly, Atari only produced the first three of these games in the series: Earthworld, Fireworld, and Waterworld. The unpublished Airworld game/comic would have wrapped up the epic story. Rendered in pure graphite on DC Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". Lightly toned, with soiling stains in the upper right margin. In Very Good condition.A portion of the proceeds from this auction will benefit The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PanCAN) and the Hero Initiative.
