George Pérez Marvel Age #1000 Captain Mar-Vell Variant Cover Original Art (Marvel, 2023). Marvel's first Captain Marvel-the Kree warrior Mar-Vell-demonstrates his cosmic powers with a touch of Kirby crackle on this variant cover, published as a tribute to George Pérez following his passing the year prior. Marvel honored the legendary artist with a series of variant covers showcasing rarely seen images such as this. A copy of the printed issue is included. Rendered in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 8.75" x 9.5". Rough top edge from sketchbook removal. Signed and dated by Pérez, in Excellent condition.A portion of the proceeds from this auction will benefit The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PanCAN) and the Hero Initiative.
