Description
George Perez Crisis on Infinite Earths #6 Cover Original Art (DC, 1985). This artist has been scorching hot lately, and of course one of the works Perez is best known for is this landmark series. The Anti-Monitor, one of the most chilling villains of the 1980s, was first revealed at the end of the prior issue, and in #6 the heroes of the many earths find out what he has in store for them. There's plenty of detail here per Perez's usual practice, but never detracting from the power of the image. Signed in the UPC box. Ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 9.75" x 15". Very minor corner creases. The special effect of the glowing eyes was done on a separate overlay that has been cut down to the shape of the effects and attached to the art.
