George Pérez and Pablo Marcos Avengers #161 Cover Original Art (Marvel, 1977). One of the classic Avengers stories of the decade also got perhaps the series' most unforgettable cover of the era. Captain America, Black Panther, Wonder Man, the Vision, and the Scarlet Witch are all "Attacked by the Ant-Man!" George Pérez is known for covers with a multitude of people (or rocks), but this time it is an invasion of ants. He was even drawing some in the margins! Created in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 9.75" x 15". The entire masthead (logo, corner box, etc.) and all cover text are stat paste-ups. There are whiteout art corrections, and three printed paste-up corrections on the toned board, along with some glue residue stains. Signed by Pérez in the UPC box, and the signatures near the UPC box are held on with production tape. In Good condition.More information about George Pérez.
