    Description

Geoffrey Biggs - Classics Illustrated #59 (Third Printing) "Wuthering Heights" Cover Original Art (Classics Illustrated, 1949). Heathcliff and Catherine brave the moors, in the stunning cover to this C.I. adaptation of Emily Bronte's gothic classic. This was the second cover used for this title, and a vast improvement over the drab line-art cover used for the first two printings. Biggs uses color masterfully and his composition is exquisite -- you can practically feel the cold wind blowing past you. The painting measures 15" x 22" and is in Excellent condition; it has been tastefully matted and framed.
