Geof Isherwood and Karl Kesel Suicide Squad #60 Cover Original Art (DC, 1991). The basic idea behind Suicide Squad was pretty brilliant in how well it took advantage of what the DC Universe was like at the time -- plenty of goofy villains from the past 50 years that were still hanging around, but were rarely featured. Here, Justice League members Superman and Batman, take on Hayoth members Golem and Judith, while Aquaman dukes it out with renegade Atlantean, Piscator. Ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 9.75" x 15.25". Light overall handling wear, marginal production notes, small spots of adhesive residue, all text are stat paste-ups, and a discolored acetate overlay is stapled over the art. Signed in lower border by Isherwood. In Excellent condition.
