Geof Darrow Transmetropolitan #23 Cover Original Art (DC/Vertigo, 1999). Ace renegade reporter Spider Jerusalem is ready for anything that the city can throw at him (including falling cats) on this insanely hyper-detailed Geof Darrow cover. The hardcore cyberpunk series was written by Warren Ellis. Darrow was an excellent choice for a cover artist, having come to be a fan-favorite for his work on the dystopian cyberpunk series Hard Boiled (written by Frank Miller). This original art piece is created in ink on vellum with an image area of 9.5" x 15". Darrow signed it in the lower margin (where he drew a potato-headed man). In Excellent condition.
