DescriptionGene Colan and Tom Palmer Tomb of Dracula #44 Doctor Strange Cover Original Art (Marvel, 1976). Doctor Strange seeks out Dracula with revenge in mind, after the Doctor's faithful servant Wong has been bitten by the ageless vampire. It all makes for a dramatic cover illustration by the one and only Gene "The Dean" Colan, with able assists from inker Tom Palmer. This Bronze Age beauty is in ink with Zipatone shading film (the "bull's eye" effect) and whiteout on Bristol board, for an approximate image area of 10.25" x 15.5". Not only are we treated to two great Marvel characters on this cover art, but also all pasted-on masthead logos are original production stats, not replacements. Other than a minor bit of handling wear in the outer borders, the condition remains Excellent.
