Description
Gene Colan and Tom Palmer Howard the Duck #14 "Duck of Satan" Cover Original Art (Marvel, 1977). Howard took several parody swipes at various Marvel Comics characters (such as Shang-Chi and Iron Man). This time, the Son of Satan gets a jab with his own trident by "A Duck Possessed!" This foul Fowl cover was created in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 9.75" x 15". The logo, corner box, and header trade-dressing are all stat paste-ups, as are the two lower captions. The board is toned and in Very Good condition.More information about Gene Colan.
