Description

Gene Colan and Tom Palmer Howard the Duck #13 Cover Original Art (Marvel, 1977). Howard stands wide-eyed and awestruck between a swarm of grotesque hands reaching toward him and his psychic friend Winda Wester. Who do those hands turn out to be? None other than "The Loudest Band in the World"... KISS! They first appeared on the last page of the previous issue, and then on the first four pages of this issue, which pre-dates their appearance in Marvel Comics Super Special #1. Rendered in ink over graphite on Marvel cover stock Bristol board with an image size of 9.75" x 14.25". The page is lightly toned with logo and header stat paste-ups. The text is stat paste-ups, there is adhesive residue around the date in the corner box and below the corner box, and a staple hole in the top left corner. In Excellent condition.
