DescriptionGene Colan and Tom Palmer Doctor Strange #174 Cover Original Art (Marvel, 1968). The cover for the story "The Power and the Pendulum" features the Sorcerer Supreme, Victoria Bentley, Lord Nekron, and Satannish. Gene Colan proves he is a Master of the Mystic Artwork on this piece from late in the Silver Age for Marvel. It was crafted in ink over graphite on Curtiss Way Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". The logo and corner box are stat paste-ups. The story title is a hand-lettered paste-up, with a bit of glue residue around it. The board is lightly toned, with production hole punches in the top and bottom margins. Overall in Excellent condition.
