Description
Frank Robbins The Shadow #7 Cover Original Art (DC, 1974). This is the cover as originally drawn. For the published version, DC had a stat made of the Shadow's looming figure and flipped it to face right. The consignor of this piece had the stat professionally removed over 20 years ago. There is very faint glue residue and toning where the stat was, and a touch of whiteout next to the "O" in the logo. Produced in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". DC bullet, logo, and all header pieces are stat paste-ups. The backside appears to have gotten wet at some point; however, it has only caused the notations on the back to slightly blur.
